Sean is most famous for his roles in The Lord of the Rings, Rudy, and The Goonies, and is the creator of the Run3rd charity and is currently starting a literacy project. He spoke about several things during the night. He talked about his family and the powerful influence his parents had on him. He talked about how the struggles he went through growing up in Hollywood, and how it gave him respect for the careful use of money. One of his primary focuses was not to let any chance slip away, using the example of 50 First Dates, where he almost turned down the role because he felt busy, but the movie became widely known.
There was a large mix of people in attendance. We had a large amount of community members. We also had fans of his movies, runners, and theater majors all come. Sean was very good about covering a lot of different aspects of his life and had a message for everyone in attendance.
After the talk, Sean shook hands, signed autographs, and took pictures with everyone in attendance who wanted to stay. He was extremely kind and personable to everyone and was happy to hear what people had to say. He estimated that at least 350 people went through the line to talk to him.
