LeRoy is credited with the creation of the Lambeau Leap in addition to being a Super Bowl champion and being inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. He spoke about being raised in extreme poverty and the obstacles he had to overcome in life. This included spending a few years of his childhood held back by his wheelchair. LeRoy expressed how family support, love, and a positive attitude are what got him out of his wheelchair and on the grass of Lambeau Field. His message was unique in that most speakers leave you with a line similar to “follow your dreams,” but Butler focused on how important follow through is. It does not matter what you dream if you don’t have the motivation to make those dreams happen.
